Autumn Mejia, PA-C

Autumn Mejia, PA-C, joins Family Practice Associates as a board certified Physician Assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Biology, gained valuable experience as an EMT and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory and Henry College.

Autumn loves the variety that Family Medicine offers. Her previous experience as a Physician Assistant in the Richmond Community involved serving the financially and medically underprivileged. She finds that what makes her profession rewarding is being able to equip her patients with the knowledge and tools to improve their health and community using available resources and education that are inclusive, so that patients of diverse backgrounds can receive high-quality, patient-centered care.

In her personal time, Autumn enjoys spending time with her husband, their two cats, and her family; as well as making baked goods, gardening, creating art, and frequently looking for DIY projects to complete around their house.
